Direct School Admission – Sec (DSA-Sec) for 2026
We invite all interested 2025 Primary 6 students to apply for Beatty Secondary School via the DSA-Sec Exercise.
Parents and students are encouraged to choose schools wisely based on the student’s aptitudes and strengths, bearing in mind the schools’ academic and non-academic requirements, and the programmes available to develop the area of talent.
Students who are successfully admitted to the school via DSA are expected to honour their commitment to the school and participate in the activities related to the talent area they are selected for from Year 1 – 4.

Applicants will be considered based on the following qualities:
Prior experience as a student leader (e.g., school prefect, CCA leader, peer support leader, class monitor, etc.) would be an advantage. |
Low Cheng Lum Scholarship
Students with Achievement Level (AL) 13 or better will be awarded the Low Cheng Lum Scholarship, worth a total value of S$2500, based on the following terms and conditions:

Cash Award of $1000 in Secondary 1, for students with AL 13 or better; and
-
Cash Award of $500 in Secondary 2-4, subject to good performance and conduct in the preceding year.
Application (7 May 2025, 11am to 3 June 2025, 3pm)
All applicants can apply for DSA-SEC through the centralized DSA-Sec Portal.
1. For applicants studying in MOE mainstream primary schools: Parent may log in directly to DSA-Sec Portal. Only one parent’s Singpass is required. Parents/guardians who are unable to apply online can approach their child’s primary school for assistance.
2. For applicants NOT studying in MOE mainstream primary schools: They need to apply for a Registration Number (RGxxxxxxx) to access the DSA-Sec Portal. For more details, please refer to MOE website at: https://go.gov.sg/nmsdsa-sec-application .
3. Applicants who do not have prior experience may also apply. The school will assess applicants based on the selection criteria, which may include assessing the potential of the applicants.
4. Students can indicate up to three choices (maximum of two choices for the same school under two different talent areas).
5. Applicants studying in mainstream primary schools will have their primary school information shared directly with DSA-Sec schools that they apply to. It is optional to indicate non-school-based activities and achievements.

Submission of School Preference Form through DSA-Sec Portal Both parents are required to log in to the DSA-Sec Portal using their Singpass to submit up to three school preferences. If parent(s) are unable to submit online, they can approach their child’s primary school for assistance to submit the school preferences on their behalf. |
